Crisis situations can occur without warning, especially for youth carrying the weight of trauma or emotional dysregulation. At Panache Haven, we approach crisis as a moment of care, not punishment. Our team is trained to respond with empathy, strategy, and immediate safety measures.

Our crisis intervention approach includes:

  • Trained staff in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI)
  • Suicide prevention and self-harm protocols
  • Calm-down spaces and de-escalation rooms
  • On-call crisis support and mobile response
  • Mental health stabilization plans and referrals

Each youth also has a personalized Safety Plan that outlines:

  • Known triggers
  • Preferred calming strategies
  • People they trust to call
  • Steps to take in distress

We collaborate with clinicians, families, and agencies to ensure every plan is up-to-date, trauma-sensitive, and realistic. Crisis doesn’t mean a youth is failing—it means they need more care, and we are ready to provide it.
